As a freelance WordPress developer, I offer bespoke WordPress development services.
If you’re unhappy with the current state of your WordPress site, and it’s full of bugs and issues, I’ll help you to get things back on track.
We’ll work together to make sure your WordPress website suits your needs and requirements, and isn’t something slowing you down.
But before I explain how I do that, let’s first talk about the basics.
WordPress is the most commonly used website builder on the internet, and for good reason.
It’s easy to create a website with WordPress, it can be scaled to suit any business or industry, and maintenance is straightforward even for someone with minimal web developer experience.
As a result, it’s the perfect full stack system and web host for businesses. But despite its simplicity, creating a website from scratch isn’t something you can do in an afternoon, and upgrading and maintaining WordPress sites can be a full time job.
Instead of struggling to do it yourself, bring in someone who knows their stuff.

WordPress is a Content Management System (CMS), that allows you to quickly and easily manage, organise, edit, and adapt your website. It can be used in full stack development – working with both the front and back-end of the website.
Unlike other website builders, which create fairly uniform sites, WordPress is packed with themes and plugins that help you to create eye-catching, interactive, and dynamic websites, all with user-friendly and accessible interfaces.
This helps me too! WordPress gives me all the tools I need to mix up colours, styles, and fonts, as well as the all-important functions and features that make it tick.
I can also develop unique plugins that support SEO enhancement, optimised security (including GDPR required data management), and optimised performance.
All creatable within a short timeframe and within budget.
Your website is the heart and soul of your business. But after years of shoddy development or neglect, it might be packed with problems, to the point where you’re ashamed of how it represents your business.
This can be because you tried to develop the website yourself and things got out of hand, or you were let down by your developer. As simple as the builder is to use, it’s almost impossible to build a WordPress site without a few bugs popping up.
The most common problems in website design are:

A developer may hand you the digital keys without addressing these issues, or may have missed them during development. Issues can also occur later on as you make changes to the site yourself.
Whatever the reason, there are now bugs on your site that need to be fixed. That’s where I come in!

When I’m approached by a new client, their website usually falls into one of two categories.
Neglected Websites – The site hasn’t been looked after properly for a while, and now needs a tidy up and some pest control.
Emergency Rescue Work – The site has developed a sudden, serious issue and they need my help ASAP.
The approach I take for these clients varies. If it’s the latter, the client will often be stressed and anxious to get things sorted. So my first goal is to speak with them to discuss the issue(s), and we work together to build a repair strategy. This is vital for clients’ peace of mind, and is one of the many ways I go the extra mile to help them.
But that doesn’t mean I get lazy if the work isn’t urgent! If you approach me with issues on your website, I’ll jump into action straight away. Once I’ve taken a look and discovered the extent of the issues, I’ll provide an accurate timeframe that you can work around.
You’ll also find that I’m one of the fastest when it comes to bug fixing, so you won’t be waiting long!
During my many years as the Bug Fix Queen, I’ve noticed that a lot of other website developers focus too much on the website, and not enough on the people behind it.
Your website is an extension of your business, and is often an extension of yourself too. You put your heart and soul into making it the best it can be, and probably spent a lot of money in the process!
That’s why the human approach is so important. Yes the rescue work is the main thing, but I also like to get to know my clients, and work with them to find the best solutions.
I might disappear into the back end of your website for a while, but I’ll also be providing you with regular updates and reports, so you know exactly what’s happening, all to make things less stressful for you.

If your WordPress website needs fixing, I’m the web developer to call. Drop me a message using my contact form and we’ll get started.
