I am a Kent-based, dedicated and experienced freelance web developer and am passionate about creating secure and eye-catching websites. I work on both the front and back-end of website development, so whatever you need for your website, I’m here to help!
I started coding when I was a teenager, with the help of a supportive teacher. Since then, I have built a career on my love of coding, web development and problem solving. My work is built on my 2:1 BSc (hons) in Computer Science from the University of Kent and over a decade of experience as a software and web developer.
I have worked with a range of clients across Kent including: web development for Educational Charity Organization and Custom CRM (Customer Relationship Management) development for a Financial Services Firm. I create easy-to-use, customisable systems, perfect for any growing business.
I’m an expert in both front and back-end website development. I use a range of different technologies (PHP, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS), which are the building blocks of high-quality websites ensuring security and easy user interface and experience. I have specific skills in responsive design and bootstrap, which allows me to develop websites with increased interactivity that work across devices.
My love of all thing’s tech goes beyond my work. It has led me to take an active role as organiser and host for CodeHarbour, a technology meetup based in Kent. Our aim is to provide a space for tech enthusiasts to meet up, share ideas, and provide talks on their recent projects. These events are available to all ages and technological backgrounds. I work to ensure an accessible environment for anyone who wants to be a part of the tech community.
I want to make sure that I am always using the most up-to-date technology in my work. To make sure of this I am doing a Masters in AI at the University of Bath. With AI being included across many types of business you can be certain my knowledge is cutting edge. If you’d like to incorporate AI into your business, let’s have a chat!
I love working with people to bring their website ideas to life. I get to meet loads of interesting and brilliant people and learn about them and their work. To get to know me too, here are some fun facts.
I am short – My height is around 5’2 or 157.48cm. I’m the same height as Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones) but I have fewer dragons!
I am half British and half Maltese – I speak a bit of Maltese and am interested in exploring my Maltese heritage.
I also am a huge fan of D&D – I regularly play campaigns with friends. I currently play in two campaigns. My character for them is a chaotic-neutral, halfling, bard who looks like Marama Corlett (a famous Maltese actress). For one campaign our job is to find and retrieve powerful and ancient relics that, in the wrong hands, could potentially destroy the world. During our adventures, we met a boy detective, fought ghost-possessed robots, and discovered the true meaning of friendship (as well as a reality destroying horror). In the second campaign, the notorious lich Vecna is weaving a ritual to eliminate good, obliterate the gods, and subjugate all worlds. To stop Vecna before he remakes the universe, the heroes work with three of the multiverse’s most famous archmages, travel to far-flung locales, and rebuild the legendary Rod of Seven Parts.
I am a huge heavy metal music fan – I love metal music, my favourite bands are Rivers of Nihil, Animals as Leaders, Septicflesh. I enjoy going to gigs, and have regularly attend Bloodstock Festival. In my downtime when I’m not working or studying, I go to metal gigs from big name bands through to local unsigned groups.
